About Jasmine
I graduated from King Edward VI: Camp Hill Grammar School for Girls in 2019, after achieving all As and A*s in both my GCSEs and A-levels. Consequently, I took a gap year to study for a year abroad at a private boarding school in America, where I continued my studies and achieved the highest possible scores in my Advanced Placement exams. I am currently studying for my BA English and History (Joint Honours) degree at the University of Birmingham.
I have tutored for over three years now, assisting numerous students with unlocking their highest potential and achieving their goals. This began during my time at school, where I was both an English and History mentor for younger students, before moving onto private tuition, where I engaged with a number of children who are of different ages, ranging from 11 to 17, and abilities. I helped with exam preparation, essay writing, coursework, proofreading, personal statements and specialised subject tuition.
I am DBS checked and am used to working with children of all ages, having worked as a Youth Leader at Cubs/Scouts and as a library volunteer for the Big Summer Reading Challenge.

Having recently completed my own exams, I have a working knowledge of all the main exam boards and a wealth of revision resources with specific learning techniques that I can tailor to suit your needs.
My teaching approach is generally very flexible and understanding; however, it really does vary with each student I work with.
I do consistently set homework tasks, which require completion before each lesson, in order to gain the best results possible.
