About Molly
Hi, I'm Molly. Economics has been a genuine passion of mine for years, from studying it at school through to my degree at Bath, and I love sharing that enthusiasm with students who might currently see it as just another subject to get through. I bring a professional, reliable approach to every lesson, students and parents can count on me to turn up prepared, communicate clearly, and take the work seriously.
I hold a degree in Economics from the University of Bath and achieved A*s in Economics, Maths and History at A-Level, so I have a strong grasp of what the exams require and where students commonly lose marks. Alongside this, I've spent several years teaching sailing, which has given me real experience breaking down complex ideas for completely different ages and ability levels, and adapting my teaching on the spot to how each person learns best.

Lessons run 60 minutes, either online or in person across Suffolk. Each session mixes explanation with practice. We will work through exam-style questions, unpack tricky concepts using real-world examples, and I adjust my approach depending on how a student learns best, whether that's talking through ideas, working visually, or repetition. I start most sessions with a short recap of what we covered last time, so learning builds progressively rather than starting from scratch each week. My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A-Level students, particularly those studying Economics, and I work just as well with students looking to fine-tune their exam technique as with those who need the subject built up from first principles.

Molly and I met at university where she was studying Economics and I was studying Business. During my course, I did a few modules that had math aspects to them. Molly was the key to helping me pass the module and was very patient with me, helping me to understand the math in a simple way.
