About Jasmin
Howdy! My name is Jasmin and I am currently enrolled as a student at my community college. My career plans consist of transferring to a four year university in the spring to finish my degree in construction management and obtain an internship to advance my experience. I believe positive environments give more opportunities for students to learn. My goal is to create a fun and engaging environment that will provoke challenges. It is important to constantly reflect and evaluate my methods of tutoring to ensure I maintain high standards. I enjoy helping others further their education.

As a tutor, I enjoy getting to know my students on a more personal level. It is vital for me to understand the personality and learning method that best accommodates each individual student. I strive to create a judgment free zone for my students to feel comfortable asking any questions. I will begin every session by determining what subjects will need to be covered, then ask my student to describe how they feel about the subject on a measurable scale. I will present my students with practice problems and ask thought provoking questions to guide them in the right direction. Furthermore, I will end every session with a brief review of the covered topics and ask my student to, again, rate how they feel about the subject and how we could improve their learning.
