About Leendert
Although my qualifications are in the humanities, psychology specifically, I have always had a knack for Mathematics. I tutored math for several years during my early university years and found that I enjoyed it. I believe that mathematics can unlock more than just better career options but can also teach problem solving skills. I am a pretty chilled guy who loves helping people who struggle with mathematics. I find great joy in seeing my students improve on their math scores.

During my first lesson I will have a discussion on the areas that need improvement. Afterwards, lessons with me will focus on practicing the methods used in mathematics as I believe that practice makes perfect. I have found that a firm grasp on methodology at the earlier levels of mathematics continues to help in more advance years. In more advance level I make use of visual aids to explain the basic concepts of algebra. I am comfortable to teach in English and Afrikaans.
