About Patrick
With a 4.0 in my education degree at the University of Northern Colorado, and study at the Université de Haute Bretagne in Brittany, France, a French degree from the University of Colorado, and an active K-12 teaching certificate from the Colorado Department of Education, and after successfully teaching foreign languages to hundreds of satisfied students, I know that I can help individual, motivated students reach their goals of learning to be fluent in French.

I learned language techniques from the US Department of Defense language institute, and love to pass those skills on to students excited about learning French. I teach students to listen and repeat what they hear before they learn the meaning and how to read and write which comes shortly thereafter. Students speak with the right native sounds. Students learn grammar only to explain why the language is spoken the way they hear that it is spoken, and to fortify their language habits. That way they do not get encumbered and confused only learning grammar. The more you listen to a language and repeat what you hear, the faster you will learn a language, thus the emphasis on language immersion learning.
