About Rodrigue

About Me Bonjour! I’m a French student from Paris, currently studying at McGill University. French is my native language, and I love sharing it in a way that’s fun, relaxed, and adapted to your needs. Whether you’re learning from scratch or want to improve your skills, I’m here to help—with patience and good humor! I’m used to working with kids and teenagers, having grown up with four siblings and over ten cousins. I make sure each lesson is engaging, interactive, and never feels like boring schoolwork. Plus, Rodrigue, who always finds a way to add humor and unexpected cultural insights, might make an appearance! I also offer babysitting in French, creating a natural and immersive way for children to pick up the language through play and everyday activities. Learning French doesn’t have to be stressful—it can be part of your daily life!

About the lesson

Hi! I’m a French student from Paris, currently studying at McGill University. French is my native language, and I can explain everything in English (C1 level) to make learning easier. I’m not a professional teacher, just someone who enjoys sharing my language and helping others improve. I’m very patient, and I adapt my lessons to your needs—whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills. I prepare my lessons in advance so that each class is structured but still fun and engaging. A typical session includes conversation practice, vocabulary, grammar (without making it too painful!), and interactive exercises. I’m very comfortable working with kids and teenagers—I grew up with four siblings and more than ten cousins, so I know how to keep things interesting! What sets me apart? I make learning feel natural, not like school. Plus, Rodrigue, who always brings humor, culture, and a bit of unexpected fun, might just show up in the lesson! Oh, and I got Mention Très Bien on my French Baccalauréat, so I know my stuff. I can also babysit in French, offering a fun and immersive way for kids to get used to the language while playing, doing activities, or even during bedtime stories!
