About Yona
I’m currently studying at the University of Edinburgh and have spoken French all my life. I achieved an A* in French at A-level in the UK and have a strong grasp of both formal and everyday French. Having grown up in a French-speaking environment, I’m very comfortable explaining the nuances of the language and helping students feel more confident in their understanding and expression. I offer lessons for all levels and can adapt my approach depending on your goals and learning style.

I combine structured exercises with conversation practice and real examples from French culture to make learning both effective and fun. I offer support for all levels, from GCSE and A-level preparation to university coursework or casual conversation practice. Lessons can take place online or in person in Edinburgh.
