My teaching methods and techniques will vary depending on your level of French, as well as the aspects of French you'd like to focus on. With my 15 years at the French American School of New York, I have nearly mastered all aspects of French, and can teach grammar, conjugation, conversational French, vocabulary, etc. What sets me apart as a tutor, is that I have native level French, while being an American, born to non-french parents. This means I had to work very hard to get to the same level as my French peers, but I managed quite well. I get told a lot by French people that they never would have known that I am not French, had I not told them. I grew up with French Au Pairs, and was only allowed to watch movies/TV in French until high school, and also went through some French tutoring myself in the early stages of learning the language, and these one on one sessions helped me really understand the complexities of French. I feel qualified to teach anyone who would like to improve their French, and am excited to start!
