About Sofia
I am originally from Miami, FL and have a Master's in French Literature. I currently have a full-time job in financial services but I tutor in the afternoon. Experience teaching at University of Florida French beginner classes for 3 years, tutored children for 3 years - children from 6-13 yrs of age. I like to use a communicative approach when I work with a group of students. I have students practice their speaking skills with each other by coming up with fun group activities. I like to make the class entertaining whether it's a group class or a private one on one. In a week's lesson, I do like to incorporate listening, writing and reading activities . If it's private one on one, I like to accommodate the student's individual needs.
