About Nicole

I am Nicole, 23 years old, and I studied languages and literature at the University of St Andrews.

During my studies, I have explored French language and culture through a variety of topics, from medieval chansons de geste to contemporary francophone cinema and music. I love discovering how language connects with history, art and society, and I would love to share this passion with my students.

Having learned multiple languages myself, I understand the challenges of language learning and can help you develop methods that work best for you.

Lessons are usually 45–60 minutes and are suitable for beginners to intermediate learners.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalised depending on your goals and level. We can focus on:

conversation practice and speaking confidence
pronunciation
grammar explained clearly
expanding vocabulary
reading and listening skills
French and francophone culture, films and music
preparation for school, exams, travel or personal goals

I like to begin lessons by getting to know you, understanding what you want to achieve, and then creating lessons around your interests. We will spend time speaking together while also working on grammar and vocabulary naturally.
