About Jacob

I have a degree in education and over 10 years of teaching experience. This means you can count on me to understand my students' needs and to be able to help them achieve their goals. In addition, I am friendly, flexible, and supportive which means I'm able to put the student at ease to maximize their potential.

About the lesson

My years of experience teaching gives me the skills to innovate and specialize my lessons to each student. In addition, I have a bevy of resources, both personally made as well as websites, to draw on ranging from activities to worksheets that touch on anything: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. For those taking formal classes, I have a strong grasp on teaching grammar and understanding what teachers expect of their students.

Perfect! Jacob is a terrific tutor. He went above and beyond. Prepped materials before lessons, emailed me links for the materials so I could prep. He was extremely flexible with my erratic schedule. Friendly and easy going as well. Highly recommended.

Joseph was communicative and polite. He was very attentive in lessons as well. He was able to send me resources (graded work, study guides, etc) to help our sessions go more smoothly. In just a few sessions he showed marked improvement. Good luck with your final, Joseph!
