About Deo
I come from Rwanda, where French is one of the national languages. I grew up in the French school system and in a French-speaking family. I have a passion for languages and teaching, which led me to pursue a Diploma in Education to teach English and French to non-native speakers. I taught in high schools for 8 years, and then started my own language teaching business to provide French and other language lessons to expats and locals. This business provided one-on-one and small group classes to over 150 students. I have relocated to Australia with my family and wish to continue helping children and adults with their French speaking skills.

I use conversational, participative methods to teach practical French. Additionally, I use teaching aids including textbooks, audio recordings and videos. I typically teach one-hour lessons. I recommend 3 lessons per week, which would enable you to speak basic communicative French in 6 months. I studied all of my primary and high school in French and I have a Diploma in Education (French and English as a second language) with 10 years experience teaching French for beginners for students from 12 to 50 years old.
