About Valentina

I am a primary school assistant teacher as well as a certified Portuguese and French interpreter and translator. I also teach English as a foreign language on the side.

I am 29 years old, a mother to a 6yo.

I live in London.
I’m born in Lisbon (Portugal) of a Cape Verdean dad and Brazilian mother. I left Portugal at the age of 7. Lived in Spain for a year then was sent to boarding school in Paris until the age of 9. I spent most of my life in France and Switzerland then made the drastic decision to move to the UK and learn English in 2016.

About the lesson

We first start with an assessment to test your skills and any prior knowledge of French you might have so I don’t end up teaching you something you have already mastered. I then, draft up a lesson plan according to your goals (whether it’s achieving fluency, preparing for GCSE or A-Levels exams or simply being able to hold a conversation when abroad).
