My lessons always start with a warm-up into the topic we'll be working on. I do a lot of speaking and listening activities, but that can vary depending on the needs of my students. In general, we also develop reading and writing skills at the same time so that the approach is holistic. I've developed lessons for complete beginners all the way to more advanced speakers of the language. I have an interest and am specialized in Languages for Specific Purposes (i.e. French for Business...). Depending on how the lesson has gone, I like to end with an activity that encompasses all the skills, vocabulary, and grammar that were worked on during the class period. I prioritize students' needs above all else.
