I am a former classroom teacher of French and Spanish and a private tutor with seven years' experience, and a current PhD student in French and Modern Greek at Oxford University. In my hour-long lessons, I firstly gauge the student's prior knowledge, and then the student and I will come up with targets that they will work towards over the course of the next few lessons. I will use my personalised resources to tailor my lessons to their needs, and we will review their progress towards their targets as they go. I draw upon my experience as a classroom teacher and my seven years' experience as a private tutor to engage with my students and make them feel confident about their progress. My lessons are intended for students of KS3 and above for French, and KS3 to GCSE for Spanish.
