About Romain
Hi, I am Romain and I am a french researcher (GeorgiaTech, Atlanta) in Mechanical Engineering (and more precisely in Acoustics). French is my mother tongue, but I am also bilingual in English as I have spent the last five years in Atlanta. I hold a masters and a PhD in engineering that provided me with a taste and experiences in teaching, both in private lessons and in the university.
I have previously offered private lessons in scientific fields as well as in French to multiple students that have always appreciated the level of preparation and the patience that I offer in my lessons.

I offer high school / college level courses in French with the aim of solidifying the bases seen in class and enhancing both your written and oral skills. I always try to adapt my lessons to the needs of a student. For example, I will focus more on teaching grammar and vocabulary for beginners while developing conversation skills if you have an advanced level. I also try to keep the students focused and entertained by using various supports (videos, newspaper articles, short-stories, etc...).
The lessons are done by webcam and are organized around:
- a review of the lessons seen in class
- the resolution of exercises applying the course to prepare for your tests.
Once the course is well-mastered, I will use more interactive supports to help you develop conversation and written skills. I offer the first hour (without commitment), so don't hesitate to contact me and try a lesson!
