About Stephanie
I moved from Normandy to Hampshire 26 years ago. I have taught French in primary schools, secondary schools and in one college. I have also taught Spanish at GCSE level. Your lesson could be face to face or online, depending on where you are.
The advantage of being face to face, should you come to my house, is that we can cook, bake as part of the French lesson. This is just an example. I can also create a clothes shop. I am a strong believer in learning while making something. This is the way we learn our mother tongue. If you need support to go through your GCSE or A Level, the lesson will be more guided.

1. Finding out the learner's level and their expectations. What do they know already? 2. Going through the grammar, including tenses. This is the backbone of the language. 3. Adapting my teaching to the learner: the point is not to tick boxes but to have a sense of achievement. Most of us lack confidence about languages. This is what I try and build back. If you have not learnt French before, making the decision to have lessons is the big 1st step. If you think you have forgotten your GCSE or A Level French, trust your brain. The language is still there. Getting ready for your exams, the best time to start is September-October. I was so pleased: the 2 GCSE students I taught last year were both awarded 8 by the AQA Board.
