About Jean-Marie

I am Jean-Marie, French native speaker from the tropical island of La Reunion.
Reunion Island is small French overseas department located in the Indian Ocean, next to Mauritius.
I have been living in the UK since 1996 when I moved to the Isle of Man to work as an au pair and to learn the English language.
After my year in the Isle of Man, I moved to Manchester to study Media at Salford University.
I have a Degree in English from the University of Reunion and a BA (Hons) degree in Media from Salford University.
Whatever reason you wish to study French, you will find it pretty easy with my teaching method and the effective homework I will provide at the end of each leasson.

I will look at your end goal and timescale to make sure we both get you to where you want to be with the French Language.
Having lived in this country for more than 25 years, I do know the challenges of learning a second language.
From experience, the best and quickest way to learn a foreign language is to be converse with a native on a regular basis while getting the basics right first time round.
