About Grace
My name is Grace, and I am passionate about teaching French! My goal is to help your child expand their knowledge of speaking and writing in French as well as learning about French and Francophone culture! I have a degree in French from Loyola University Chicago, and I will be a graduate student in the fall studying and teaching French at UIC. I have tutored elementary, high school, and college-aged students in French and English for four years. I also have experience with children in non-academic settings, as I was a camp counselor in a district for three years.

My teaching method is taking the anxiety out of learning; I believe all learning, especially language learning, should be fun and rewarding. Therefore, I create classes that are conversation and activity-based fit for each student. Grammar and formal learning techniques are embedded into my lessons through games and activities.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If the student cancels the lesson less than 24 hours in advance, I will charge a $20 cancellation fee.
