About Madeira
My name is Madeira Stevenson. I have a degree in Health Sciences, and I am starting a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in September. I still love French and I want to keep up the language, so I find teaching it to others helps me to retain that information. I am currently tutoring a student and her parents are very impressed with her progress. She has gotten more excited about lessons, and often wants to prolong the session at the end! I have watched her become more confident with French and it's amazing to see. I want to help other students that same way.

For virtual lessons, I love to read books together, play games, practice vocabulary words, have practice conversations, etc. to go from beginner (or whatever level we're starting with) to a more advanced and confident speaker! I always pay attention to how the student learns, whether that is visually, auditory, or through movement. I prefer beginners, no matter what age. I can't wait to meet you!
