About Carla
About me
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Social Sciences (AES) and a Master’s degree in Education (MEEF) from Université Lyon 2. During my studies, I worked as a trainee teacher in French primary schools, from kindergarten to Year 6, and later taught Economics in a vocational high school.
I also worked as a Student Admissions Officer in a business school, helping students with their applications and educational choices. Alongside education, I’ve had several professional experiences in hospitality and the social and solidarity economy, which have given me a broad understanding of the French education system, workplace and everyday life.
This diverse background allows me to bring more than just language skills to my lessons: I can share practical knowledge, cultural insights and real-life experience to help you feel more prepared and confident in France.

Going to France? Let’s get you ready!
Planning to study, go on exchange, travel or live in France? I’ll help you prepare for your experience and feel confident from day one!
I’m a French teacher from France with a Master’s degree in Education (MEEF) from Université Lyon 2. I’ve taught in French primary schools from kindergarten to Year 6, Economics to high school students, and French as a Foreign Language (FLE) in Aosta, Italy. I’m comfortable working with different ages, levels and learning styles.
French & French culture
My lessons combine language learning with French culture and everyday life. We’ll work on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and conversation, while discovering French habits, cultural references and social codes.
I can also help you prepare for your arrival in France: accommodation, university life, transport, administrative procedures and everyday situations.
