About Perrine
Bonjour!
I am a fourth-year student at the Scottish University of Aberdeen in Film Politics, I give some English lessons when I am back in France and offer French classes when studying. I do not have an official diploma but my university has recognised my bilingualism in English and I am a French native speaker.
Education:
Baccalauréat ES at the Lycée Jean-Baptiste Dumas, Alès, Gard (2016).
Diploma obtained with Mention Très Bien (Honours).
Specialization in English (European section), cinema and economy.
Currently enrolled in a Joint Honour Degree in Film and Politics at the University of Aberdeen.
Scholarship: SAAS (Scotland Scholarship Agency).
Optional courses: anthropology, history of arts, archaeology, history of religions.

I offer French classes at all levels: grammar, conversation, culture (mostly South of France, where I am from), some literature, and preparation for some certifications.
I rely on the French high school method of learning: oral / written comprehension and oral / written expression.
I mostly use press articles, literary texts, films, songs and pictures, but I can also use a textbook if provided. I find this method to be in direct relation to French culture, putting the language in context and then facilitating the learning which will not only be academic.
I graduated from high school through my Baccalauréat 4 years ago. I know how to adapt myself according to each one, trying to be a good listener to be able to personalise my program according to the requests: school support, simple training not to lose the language, amateur of the French culture, curious of the language, complete beginner ...
