About Katie
I am a patient, understanding and relatable tutor. Being only 22 years old myself, students find themselves relaxed in my lessons, with a great balance of humour and focused work. I have over 4 years of tutoring experience and love to help students reach their full potential and boost their confidence. Students typically finish with a 1-2 grade boost following lessons with me, even in short periods of time.

No two of my lessons are the same - with over 1000 lessons completed, I understand the importance of dynamic lessons to directly tackle any areas of concern. With a relaxed environment, my students feel comfortable asking me any questions, without fear of seeming 'silly' - I know how that can feel!
I have a proven track-record of raising grades in short periods of time with a heavy emphasis on exam technique to help you get out of those tricky exam situations. However, if you're not studying for a particular exam, I offer lessons for you too!
I cover all elements of French: listening, reading, writing, speaking, translation, grammar, vocab etc. Whatever it is you want to improve, I can help.
My lessons typically last for 55 minutes, but this can be negotiated. I have experience in teaching languages from 7-year-olds up to mature students. I have 119 reviews of my tutoring, all of which are 5* (link available upon request!). I hold a degree in French and Spanish, an A grade at A-Level in French and an A* at GCSE.
