About Maya
I am a French/American 19 year old music student. I have lived in the U.S. and in France and now in London. I have been teaching French for three years with a toddler and have given more advanced French classes to my 12 year old french cousin (with written and oral comprehension for his exams in France). I am very patient and I adjust my lessons to the needs of my students.

Since I have studied in three different countries, I have found a way to mix and match the best qualities of each educational system, in order to make my lessons interesting and effective. I am very kind and patient but I am firm when I have to be. I believe in a point or grading system and I have experience in grading university abstracts as well as simple exercises.

Details
My travel rates differ if I need to travel more than an hour, or if I am travelling to a more expensive "Zone" (for the tube prices). I also ask for 30 pounds and hour if the student is almost fluent in french and needs preparation for an exam. I do have a cancellation policy, if the student cancels at least one hour and 30 minutes before class time, he/she will not be charged for the lesson. However, I will have to charge any student that does not show up to the lesson or that cancels too late.
