About Oliver
I have been an Urban Forestry student at UBC for several years after originally being in Computer Science. I have taken many kinds of courses with many kinds of teaching styles and have taught many fellow students. I have found one-on-one tutoring can allow the person teaching to better understand where information is not being understood and adapt to allow people to learn topics easier. I hope I can do that for you whatever the topic may be and leave you feeling better about what you know.

I can either help explain and go through homework or difficult topics in your courses with you to help you learn or go through progressive topics to develop an understanding of a variety of concepts. for example tree growth, tree evolution, forest dynamics, urban planting, cell biology etc. I am passionate about all of these topics and would take you through the information in a way that would not be overwhelming but instead slowly build understanding and keep engagement. I can do this for elementary or high-school levels as well as subjects such as trigonometry, algebra and other simple subjects.
