About Faith
I am passionate about helping students succeed in their English learning journey. With experience teaching ESOL students and working with K-12 children in Chicago, I have developed a strong understanding of diverse learning needs and styles.
In addition to my teaching background, I regularly work with kids through babysitting, which has further strengthened my ability to connect with and inspire young learners. I believe that effective communication and active engagement are key to fostering a positive learning environment, and I strive to create lessons that are both informative and enjoyable.

I approach tutoring English using communicative method that emphasizes engaging students in real-life conversations, enhancing speaking and listening skills alongside reading and writing. I tailor lessons to individual needs, utilizing differentiated pedagogy to accommodate various learning styles. A typical lesson starts with a warm-up activity, followed by the introduction of new material, guided practice through interactive activities, and independent tasks to reinforce learning, concluding with a wrap-up session for additional questions and feedback. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I cater to a wide range of learners from beginners to advanced students. I aim to maintain a personalized approach, committing to cultural integration and the use of technology to enhance engagement.
