About Meghna

As a fourth year medical student, I am hard working but also approachable, patient and enthusiastic. Medicine is a passion for me and I found a way to enjoy my journey here whilst also developing resilience to overcome hurdles on the way. I always teach my students within a way that allows them to enjoy their subject and am truly supportive and understand that some subjects may need more time and patience than others! I am also driven and thoroughly prepare for lessons and help students achieve their full potential. In my spare time I love to play the piano, watch Modern Family (!) and spend time travelling and with friends.

About the lesson

Hi! I am a 4th year medical student at University of Birmingham. I have tutored students from years from secondary level, to GCSE and all the way through to A level. With 3 A* at A level and 11 A* at GCSE, I guide students by supporting them, ensuring they have a sound understanding of the subject and teaching key exam techniques and tricks. I also offer one-to-one tutoring for medical applicants for interview and personal statement. I believe the process to achieving desired grades is not impossible and have helped students achieve their full potential whilst also enjoying the process and feeling supported. Likewise, the medicine application process is highly competitive yet achievable through strategy and confidence. I currently teach medicine webinars along with tutoring. I found tutoring really helpful through my own personal journey and have accumulated resources, techniques and methods to help students on their own journey. I tailor lessons according to the level of each student and always support students on their journey! Lesson length can vary according to student preference.
