Hi! I am a former violin major at Pensacola Christian College. I teach students mainly kids-adults/all ages with personalized methods tailored to the need of my students.

About Klara

Starting my musical journey at the age of 8, the first musical instrument I learned was the drums. Then I developed an interest in learning the piano, violin, guitar, flute, and cello. As time went on, after realizing the two instruments I mastered the most (violin and piano), I became active in musical orchestral activities in my city (Fransiskus Strings Ensemble, Lampung Orchestra), representing my school in competitions, collaborating with TRUST Orchestra, music concerts, and taking classical music exams from ABRSM and Yamaha. During my university years, I decided to major in music performance (violin). I studied under the guidance of Dr. Charles Bombard and Mr. Mattheus Canda. I actively participated in campus orchestra activities (PCCymphony) as a Violin I player, selected as a member of the seasonal orchestra for campus art performances, and participated in campus orchestra services. I am currently joining the RMIT Chamber Orchestra. Additionally, I remained active in providing private lessons on campus (teaching children aged 6-20 years old) and have been teaching for 8+ years. I am currently teaching the violin, piano, and singing in a primary school and privately here in Melbourne.

About the lesson

-I am using Suzuki as my main method (some supplementary books including Wohlfahrt, Sevcik, etc.) -I am able to prepare my students for ABRSM/AMEB exam (grade 1-8) -My course duration would be 60 mins (could be 45 mins and 30 minutes, upon request) -My highest violin ABRSM certification was grade 8, and Yamaha grade 7. - Besides the violin, I also teach classical piano (grade 1-5) -My highest piano ABRSM certification was grade 5.
