About Alex
I am a current Highschool and Sixth form teacher specialising in chemistry. Before becoming a teacher a worked in the University of Liverpool delivering Lab modules to both the first and second year students. After my work with the university I then set out to become a teacher and graduated with QTS from the University of Chester and have been teaching science ever since.

In my teaching practice I pride the students needs above all else. If the student isn't engaged than I found out what does engage them and use that in the lesson. The focal point of science that I also try to include in every lesson is it's relevancy to the world around us. Whether this be with experiments in the classroom, or through youtube videos or demonstrations remotely. The key is to interest the student in what is being taught, not just to learn it for a test.
