About Sheherazade
I am a freelance writer in both English and French. I have been tutoring since I was 16, both oral and written comprehension and expression. I give lessons up to University level. I have a Master in Communication and Advertising, given by L'Ecole Supérieure de Publicité in Paris.

Currently, all my students are different: some want to learn French and have no basics, some want to perfect their conversation and pronunciation, some want help to get better grades at school. This is why I use the first lesson to know you, and evaluate your level and ask you what your needs are. This lesson is FREE and lasts 30 min. After this, I will work on an approach "sur mesure", especially for you.
Each lesson will last one hour minimum, more if you wish! After each lesson, you will receive by email a report of what we did, what we said, and theory about the subject we explored. You will also receive homework to help you going until the next lesson. I take time to explain and I manage to make even the hardest grammar rule very easy to understand. No need to make things complicated! I use what you like to teach you what I know.
Everybody learns in a different way, and I make sure to know what is yours to turn every lesson in a fun time.

Perfect! Sheherazade is a wonderful tutor. I feel she really has identified where I need help in learning French. A pragmatic approach that is broken down to get to grips with the language. She is engaging and supportive, it feels very natural to work with her. I can not recommend her enough.
Perfect! I have no previous experience of learning French. What little I know is self-taught from CD or books etc so that I needed a native French speaker to hear spoken French and improve my pronunciation. I find Sheherazade very patient with me as I struggle to grasp spoken French. Each lesson includes a review of previous work and vocabulary. She sets me work and sends me an outline for each lesson. She then follows up each lesson with a comprehensive email of errors in grammar and vocabulary which I find extremely helpful. In all I find it well-structured, extremely beneficial and it fully meets my requirements.
- Ivan already has a good French. All the basics are already there. He just lacks of vocabulary, and makes grammar and conjugaison mistakes. He is already good with pronunciation, and it will improve anyway with practice.Sheherazade's response :
