About Jermaine
I was a substitute teacher in the public school system for 5 years. I had just completed a special program at the local community college to receive my high school diploma. That was all I needed to become a substitute teacher. As a sub, I had a close relationship with the principal of each school. As a substitute teacher, I was actually also eligible to fill in for the assistant principal at the high schools if the board of education approved it. I am currently pursuing my associate degree at the same community college I received my high school diploma.

Because the youth are going to need all this later in life when it's time to look for decent work.
I have nothing against working in stores and restaurants but the youth will eventually get tired of it.
Education will lead to better jobs that pay more. I know many adults who wished they were told this as youth. Because if they could do their education all over, they would have at least finished high school.
In my opinion, the only real jobs at stores and restaurants are the managers. Any of those other titles are meaningless.
So it's simple. Get the basics and qualify for better jobs.
