About Katie
I am an English Literature student (recently graduated from Oxford University) who has been teaching my peers for several years. During my A Levels I tutored struggling students at my sixth form to help them achieve a passing grade, whilst also juggling my own A Levels and EPQ.

My teaching method has one simple principle at its core: there is no such thing as a 'stupid' or 'wrong' answer, as long as students can eloquently back up their argument. I also do not believe in 'telling' students what to write: only guiding them to a unique opinion that they can be proud of. I am a strong believer in visual and cross-based learning (ie, tying ancient texts to modern sociological issues is a great way to make archaic material more accessible to students).
