About Shaune
I am a Senior Physics Teacher, and current Head of Physics, with a proven track record of helping students of all levels exceed their expectations through strong relationships, a sense of humour, and an ability to simplify complex topics. I am proud to have helped students achieve Top in New Zealand IGCSE Physics (2020), Top in New Zealand AS and A Level Physics (2020, 2021), and Top in World A Level Physics (2021). I am equally proud of my 100% pass rate over a range of years. Working with students to increase their scientific literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills is the most rewarding job I have ever had. Helping students master difficult concepts is more than just teaching them Physics; it's guiding them through self-doubt and working with them to show them how much they are capable of.

60 minute lessons that focus on understanding the concepts at play, strategies for correctly interpreting the question, and a skills-based approach for tackling the problem. Both qualitative and quantitative questions are addressed and can be tailored for students concerned about passing or achieving top marks.
