About Erinn

My name is Erinn Dimond, and I am a storyteller at heart and a writer by trade.

After earning a B.A. in English and Creative Writing from St. Mary's College of California, I completed my M.A. in English and American Literature from New York University. During that time, I wrote two thesis papers, published short stories, self-published poetry and story collections, edited colleagues' papers and novels, and presented original research at a graduate-level conference.

I spent the first three years after earning my Master's teaching English to 6th and 7th graders both online and in-person. I led a massive project to design a new year-long curriculum for 6th grade English and earned a certificate in Gifted & Talented Education from Converse College.

After I left teaching, I became a full-time staff writer for a well-known financial website called WalletHub.com. I've begun to build a freelance writing, editing, proofreading, and content creation business and tutor adult students pro-bono in my spare time.

About the lesson

My lessons are all about building skills! English is a beautiful language, but ultimately it's just as useful as it is beautiful. You need to be able to take in information, process it, come up with original thoughts, and communicate those thoughts... and I will help you do just that.

And we'll have fun along the way!
