About Erin
After graduating college with a Secondary Mathematics teaching degree, I taught middle and high school math for four years. Since then, I have been managing a local tennis club that I am also a tennis professional at.
I am truly passionate about mathematics and helping others discover its beauty and many uses!

Hello there!
I have worked with students of all ages (elementary, middle, high school, and college)! My specialty is mathematics, but I have also assisted students in reading comprehension, grammar, writing, research, and several other topics.
For some students, I am there as a guide to help with homework and prepare for tests in school. For others, I prep my own materials to work through! Oftentimes when studying math, I will use online websites and tools, such as IXL and Desmos.
I know math is often viewed as one of the more 'intimidating' areas of study, so I also focus on building a positive relationship with the student. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and trying different approaches as they work to find solutions!
