I am a former Maths teacher at a specialist school for students with autism.
My teaching style is characterised by fluidity and flexibility, with each session tailored in advance to meet individual learning needs. Sessions are usually an hour long, blending mini-lessons with exam practice questions.
Initial classes are guided by conversation with students and parents to ascertain areas for development. I pride myself on my open communication style, ensuring students are able to openly discuss their thoughts regarding my teaching style, and address what did, and didn't work for them.
