An undergraduate freshman college student who is confident in his math ability - before going to college, he was in the math team for 4 years and has led the team to win a couple of local math competitions, and attended national competitions with a group of enthusiastic "mathematicians".

I make sure students conceptualize the material, not just purely memorize boring formulas. Start with a "To-do", then vividly describe the concept with real-world examples, then introduce with a concrete lesson, and end with a solid summary. Expecting students to explain the concept to one another with simple sentences.
