About Jason
Most of my career was teaching Algebra 2 or higher level, in particular Precalculus and AP Statistics. I am easy to work with for any students who genuinely want to learn, but students who are just looking for a quick answer to a test question without seeking understanding may not find me preferable. My ultimate goal is for you to not need a tutor, because you have learned the material. Math understanding is accessible for everyone once a good foundation is in place.

I tutor for deep understanding so that students will learn the material as opposed to just getting an answer. Fundamental and foundational math concepts are essential for successful learning. I will teach processes so that students can do it themselves the next time.
In my 18 years as a HS math teacher, my students consistently improved their standardized test scores because of my approach to foundational learning.
I can assist with all levels of HS math (or MS) and also teach students how to approach college tests such as SAT / ACT
