About Kelly
I have taught "at-risk" students, honor students and college students so I am very capable of meeting my students where they are and getting them where they need to be. I take the time to not just teach the material but make sure my students are comfortable with it and able to apply it.

I teach all levels of mathematics including Algebra I and II, Geometry and Calculus. As math is a "building block" topic, meaning each year's materials build on the one before, I am always willing to back up to make sure my students have a good understanding of previous material in order to really be able to apply and grasp their current topic. I also have experience in Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. While I have had many students who are great at mental math or easy reading comprehension in Science, I find most of my students benefit from modeling and manipulatives as well as applying the material to everyday life so they can better understand.
