About Mary
I've tutored students from kindergarten through sixth grade. I would love to hear from you and what your struggles are in school, and hopefully together we can both be successful. I'm currently finishing my second year of AmeriCorps service as Tutor Mentor in the elementary schools. As a child, I struggled a lot with my studies, but especially with math. I now know ways to explain solving equations to kids in a language they can understand. I've also volunteered to tutor students at The Boys and Girls Club. I truly enjoy the company of children, and find it immensely satisfying to help them succeed in school.
