About Shannon
For 7 years I taught high school math (Geometry, Algebra 1, Precalculus), Physics, and AP Computer Science at a grade A school in Florida. Every year I had former students returning for help with their other math classes. I then transitioned into software engineering where I worked as a self-taught full stack developer. I decided to travel the world after that and have since visited 13 new countries.
I have a way of breaking down complex information into tangible parts and taking the time to help students understand each step, creating a foundation for future understanding. I genuinely enjoy problem-solving and create a fun, collaborative environment where students feel safe to be themselves and make mistakes as they grow and learn.
