About David

Hi, I’m David! I’ve spent 20+ years in game development, teaching and working in the industry. At Full Sail University, I helped thousands of students build their projects and land jobs—some even went on to work on Red Dead Redemption and Halo: Reach.

Since then, I’ve worked for NASA, developed military simulations, and led the official Unreal Engine Meetup in Orlando. Today, I’m the Lead Programmer at Xiphos, using Unity 6 daily to build advanced training systems.

I offer one-on-one coaching in Unreal Engine 5 & Unity 6, C++/C# programming, and Portfolio & Resume Prep for game studios.

About the lesson

With years of experience in the game industry and teaching at Full Sail University, I know how games are built—from idea to launch. My lessons are designed to give you the skills and confidence to create your own projects step by step.

Come prepared with Unreal Engine or Unity, plus Visual Studio (with C++/C# installed), and bring specific goals so we can focus on what you want to learn. Expect to be hands-on—I won’t do the work for you, but I’ll guide you through the process so you truly understand it.

My students range from complete beginners to aspiring professionals looking to sharpen their skills in Game Development fundamentals, Unreal Engine 5 & Unity 6, and C++/C# programming. By the end of each session, you’ll not only know what to do but also why it works.
