About Michael

I'm a 'both sides of the brain' kind of guy: I tutor math and english subjects, and I teach math and english classes. So, I have a knack for solving word problems, logic puzzles, and games along that line. I try to make the material as fun as I can, because most students I deal with are not having much fun in these classes (which is understandable). I'm a student of taekwondo, so I know how it feels to be in a disciplined atmosphere and have a good time as well.

About the lesson

I believe in a Socratic approach when it comes to all subjects, but with any math subject it is very important to write all the work down. Mistakes are made that way, especially by skilled mathematicians! Attentiveness to detail is essential.
