About Ava

I am an engineer living in South Carolina, originally from California, recently returned to the United States from Japan. I have degrees in pure/applied mathematics and electrical engineering from Boston University, with experience in partial differential equations and reinforcement learning. I speak English, Spanish, and amateur Japanese, and absolutely love teaching.

About the lesson

I take a very individualized and patient approach to teaching! I’ve been a TA in linear algebra, calculus, and physics in college, as well as a high school and middle school math tutor. I love math but understand it’s not for everyone. Can teach anyone, up through linear algebra and advanced calculus.
