About Chad

Have a Bachelor's in Biblical Studies from Central Bible College/Evangel University in Springfield, MO Upon graduation, had strong passion to study Scripture more. Attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago suburbs. Earned a Master's degree in Missions/Inter-Cultural Studies (relating God's Word to people of all backgrounds) with a Minor in Biblical Studies. Professionally have served as a Chaplain to inmates in jail and have served as a high school Bible teacher for seven school years. Both in Lee County. I am serious about loving Jesus Christ and His word and in equipping Christians to know/understand/love God and His word more and more. If you choose me as a tutor/mentor you will be individually loved and I will be committed to helping you grow spiritually.

About the lesson

Willing to teach in-depth lessons about any specific topic in Bible - flexible lessons.

I offer original carefully studied and planned lessons on a number of Biblical topics - from "How to pray" to "The Prodigal Son" to an in-depth chapter-by-chapter study of the Gospel of John.

Also can offer lessons on defending your faith ("apologetics" - reasons WHY we should believe) and/or HOW to read the Bible responsibly ("Hermeneutics").

Begin each lesson with personal prayer requests - praying for student's individual needs

Bible lessons are usually meticulous in observation making. I invite student to carefully EXAMINE exactly what the Bible is saying (and what it is NOT saying). Challenge student to use LOGIC and observation skills. We read and re-read...discuss...I provide insights on what the text is saying from many years of studying God's word in Bible college and Seminary...then we continue to next verse. Repeat. Review. Repeat.

Some lessons include creative illustrations, sometimes a song or short You-Tube video to introduce topic. Creativity and making learning FUN are priorities - while also doing the hard work of thinking critically.

Lessons are for all ages...though most of my experience is with high school ages and older.

More than willing to come to you. Willing to travel from Marco Island to Punta Gorda. Located in Estero. Longer the distance the more I would ask you to consider adding to flat $10 travel fee (gas costs).
