About Jane
I began my teaching career at Meadowbrook Elementary School in Northbrook, IL as a special education assistant. For the last 8 years I was the sole 2nd grade teacher at a small private school in Chicago's Ukrainian Village. During this time I earned my Masters Degree in Elementary Education while working with groups of diverse learners in my classroom. I created individualized learning plans that significantly enhanced student engagement and achievement. I am focused on the needs of individual learners and how to help them reach their educational goals.

I am currently working towards my Reading Teacher endorsement for elementary students and I love fostering a love of reading in the early grades.
