About Maya
Using a tutor or asking for help is not an embarrassing thing to do. I fully understand the stigma surrounding having a tutor and I can work with you to better understand the things you are struggling with while maintaining a judgement free environment. I am a college student along with being a tutor so I understand the struggle with balancing classes and hectic schedules and I am fully willing to work with you the best that I can.

I think that the best way for students to retain information is to practice, practice, practice! A typical lesson plan for me would look like an assessment of what the student is actively learning in their classes and breaking it down using real life examples. As a tutor, I am willing to work odd hours that fit with your schedules in order to best suit your students needs. I am an online tutor over zoom and have a flexible schedule to work with your child. The lessons I offer are for students grades K-9 in basic math and science to prepare students for middle and high school.
