About Xiwen
Xiwen is an experienced flute teacher, who has over 14 years of flute study and performing. She has completed her music performance bachelor's degree at Monash University and is currently completing her Master of Teaching (Secondary music) degree at the University of Melbourne. Xiwen has been playing in many different music ensemble groups, and currently working as the music director of the University of Melbourne’s Chinese Music Group. Familiar with AMEB, VCE, theory, and ensemble teaching.

Xiwen is very passionate to support young musicians to achieve their music goals from different aspects.
In Xiwen’s music lessons, she will be teaching students music performance skills along with music theory, the most important thing is to teach students to understand and enjoy the music they play or listen, get to know about the history, the composers, and maybe some interesting stories behind the music.
