I'm Clive, a fully-qualified French teacher with many years' experience of helping students of all ages, levels and abilities to learn French, either in the classroom, or via the textbooks I have written. Whether you just want to acquire some key phrases for your holidays in France, converse with French friends, or improve your GCSE French grade, I can help! I have taught French to students of all abilities and levels, from beginners or those who are struggling with the language, to high-fliers and natural linguists. I always take the time to find out students' needs, level and challenges, then shape the learning process accordingly. I believe that learning a language should be fun and I like to use visuals, songs, videos, humour and French culture to offset the hard graft of grammar, exam-style tasks, etc. Patience, praise and good humour are the keystones of my approach to teaching.
