About Liam

If you're looking for expert tuition tailored to your needs, look no further! I am a freelance writer and editor, and former EFL teacher, with a BA in French and History from the University of Warwick. I offer lessons for all skill levels that take into account everyone's uniqueness and individuality. I can work around your other commitments, and adapt lessons for different learning styles and educational requirements.

About the lesson

I have taught at primary level in two schools in France, and have mentored older students up to age 16. I have a first-class bachelor's degree in French and history and am currently studying a master's in publishing. I also have a Grade 8 in piano, a Grade 5 in music theory and an A Level in music.
I am happy to take on students of all levels, and confident in tailoring my lesson plans to different learners, having taught students of various different learning stages. I have existing lesson plans to work from, using British Council and French school system curricula and standards for language development, but I am more than happy to adapt to your requirements. In our initial consultation, we can begin by discussing your development and working together on a lesson plan and schedule that suits your needs.
I have worked with children with alternative educational requirements, so if you need any particular adaptations, whether physical or educational, I am happy to work with you to accommodate these. Additionally, don't be afraid of lacking certain skillsets or knowledge, everyone has to start somewhere. I have managed to get five-year-olds with no knowledge of the English language to string sentences together and competently answer questions within a few months, so anything is possible!
Having studied these subjects at a high level, I am familiar with UK curricula and exam requirements, so I can work alongside your existing lessons to improve your level and tailor your skills to your schooling.
I offer an initial consultation of 30 minutes or so free-of-charge to discuss a learning plan.
